$323K State Rail Investment Headed to Sumner County

Sumner County is set to receive more than $323,000 in state funding as part of a statewide investment aimed at improving rail service and strengthening Kansas’ transportation infrastructure. Last week, Governor Laura Kelly announced that 10 rail service improvement projects across Kansas will receive a combined $11.2 million through the Kansas Department of Transportation’s Rail Service Improvement Program (RSIP).
