The winter of 2024/25 in the Alpine region of Austria, Germany and Switzerland is clearly too warm and too dry. According to a current assessment by Geosphere Austria, the German Weather Service and MeteoSwitzerland, the average temperature from November to April was 1.6 degrees above the comparison period 1991-2020.
