A court in Azamgarh has convicted three accused in a nearly 20-year-old case of assaulting a Dalit man with casteist slurs. Special SC/ST Court Judge Vijay Kumar Verma on Tuesday sentenced Santosh alias Guddu Yadav, Buddhiram Yadav, and Suresh to three years in prison each.
