3,000 without power in Lincoln County after strong storms

DENVER, N.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) -- More than 3,000 customers lost power in Lincoln County Thursday night after strong storms blew through the area, according to Duke Energy officials.  Most of the outages, approximately 2,000, are in the Vale area in western Lincoln County.
