Presidential Chief Advisor Oktay Saral reacted to allegations that Sebahattin Yıldız, owner of Yıldızlar SSS Holding, has not paid the wages and compensation owed to mine workers for months. Saral called on the relevant ministries and authorized institutions to conduct an investigation.

They put us in the position of beggars. Is that right? Why is it always our workers, miners or friends who are oppressed? Why are workers always oppressed? Why are the guards always holding out? Let this state stand with the worker for once.”
