North East Can Be “Ground Zero” for Beating Child Poverty as £28m Plan Agreed

NORTH EAST REGION OF ENGLAND, JUL 22 – The £28.6 million plan targets 120,000 children with grants, health support, and subsidised travel to address rising child poverty, the largest regional effort in England, officials said.
