More and more Swedish schools are licensed to teach subjects other than languages in English. But when the Swedish Schools Inspectorate inspects 30 of these schools, it emerges that 27 of them lack the quality of English-language teaching. The International English School in Halmstad is an example. There, teachers lack sufficient knowledge – in both English and Swedish.
