24,192 teachers working in school districts were left out of the autumn salary increase that followed the first performance evaluation, Népszava learned from data from the Klebelsberg Center, which is responsible for the operation of school district centers. Teacher Renáta Murányi's thoughts on the situation follow.
The performance evaluation of teachers was "random and arbitrary", 24 thousand did not receive a salary increase - The salaries of the best performing teachers increased by 60 thousand forints gross per month.
Those teachers who received a salary increase at all can "rejoice" in a gross salary of 20-30 thousand forints, as they were appreciated for their outstanding performance last year. The others received less than that, and many received nothing at all.
A total of 24,000 teachers in Hungary were completely left out of the pay increase.
