ROCKFORD, Ill. (WTVO) — Rockford Police said the victim of an overnight shooting on 15th Avenue has died. Police said the 22-year-old victim was shot in the 100 block of 15th Avenue prior to 2:30 a.m. Monday morning. He was alive when police found him at the scene and was rushed to a local hospital, where he expired from his injuries.
