2025 Atlantic hurricane season would be intense after the end of La Niña

The weather phenomenon known as La Niña, which had been altering climate conditions globally, officially came to an end, as confirmed by NASA and the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration of the United States (NOAA). With its disappearance, the equatorial Pacific ocean temperatures return to neutral levels, which could anticipate a more active hurricane season in the Atlantic.
