20 years of the Hansen's Disease Citizens Association: Let's accelerate progress towards a complete solution

The two-day general meeting and social gathering of the Hansen's Disease Citizens' Society, held in Kumamoto and Koshi, concluded on the 11th. It has been 20 years since the society was founded in Kumamoto in 2005. Researchers and citizens have supported former patients and made progress step by step. As the people affected by the disease are aging, the society is making full use of its accumulated knowledge and experience.
