Man sentenced in gunpoint robberies of 2 N.J. businesses
A man has been sentenced to prison in the gunpoint robberies of two North Jersey businesses that occurred during the summer of 2022. A judge sentenced Kareem Powell, 32, of Willingboro, to a 10-year federal prison sentence on Thursday, the U.S. Attorney’s Office in New Jersey said in a statement. He previously pleaded guilty to two counts of Hobbs Act robbery and one count of brandishing a firearm in furtherance of a crime of violence.
