HAWLEY, Minn. — A Fargo motorcyclist and his child passenger were injured on Sunday, Aug. 31, near here when the motorcycle struck a sign on U.S. Highway 10. HAWLEY, MN—Two people were taken to the hospital after their motorcycle collided with a sign Sunday afternoon in Hawley. The Minnesota State Patrol says a motorcycle driven by 64-year-old Jay Jansen of Fargo was westbound on US Highway 10 near 225th Street just before 5pm when the motorcycle struck a sign. Jansen and his passenger, 12-year-old Ashton Mullins of Fargo, were both taken to a Fargo hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
