The Philippine National Police – Anti-Cybercrime Group (PNP – ACG) has arrested two sisters who were illegally selling registered SIM cards online in Bacoor City, Cavite. In an interview with ACG acting Director PBGen. Wilson C. Asueta, he said the suspects’ modus operandi was to purchase SIM cards from an unnamed supplier, which they would then register and use to create accounts on online shopping platforms and online gaming applications.
