18-year-old motorcyclist killed in west Charlotte crash

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – One person has died after a crash in west Charlotte. It happened around 1:15 p.m. Friday afternoon near the intersection of Freedom Drive and Ashley Road. When police arrived, they located a blue motorcycle damaged in the roadway. The rider, later identified as 18-year-old Kaiden Riley Molitas, was found unresponsive.
