The two men who were arrested yesterday for a collision in Sint-Margriete, a sub-municipality of Sint-Laureins, have been arrested. This was confirmed by the East Flanders public prosecutor's office. The driver is accused of attempted manslaughter. The passenger is suspected of culpable negligence. A boy (15) was hit when he fled on his bike after a fight at a vape shop.
Two arrests have been made after the serious collision on Thursday night in Sint-Laureins in which a 14-year-old boy was seriously injured. The driver and occupant of the vehicle have been arrested. The driver is a 27-year-old man from Eeklo, the passenger a 19-year-old man from Maldegem. According to mayor Patrick De Greve (CD&V), the boy had arranged to buy vapes with them.
