Arnaud Simonin was the Bataclan’s “last hostage”. Ten years ago to the day, he was wedged between two Islamist terrorists inside the concert hall in Paris after they had held him captive for two-and-a-half hours.
Jesse Hugues, along with his group Eagles of Death Metal, was on the Bataclan scene during the attacks.
Gaëlle survived the attack on the Bataclan concert hall ten years ago. Terrorists entered the concert hall during a performance by the hard rock band Eagles of Death Metal and opened fire on the audience. “I knew I had been hit when I saw that my arm was in tatters and that parts of my face were gone,” she says.
On November 13, 2015, Baptiste Chevreau lost his life in the terrorist attack targeting Bataclan. He was 24 years old. 10 years after the attack, the city of Tonnerre (Yonne), of which he is a native, and his family are organizing a tribute ceremony this Thursday.
The leader of the American rock band regularly returns to France for the commemorations of the attacks that caused chaos during his concert in Bataclan.
