San Felipe, Guanajuato.- A child under the age of 12 lost her life on Saturday, April 4, after drowning in the dam of Jesús María, located in the municipality of San Felipe, during the Gloria Saturday celebrations. According to the first reports, the girl entered the body of water despite the fact that access to swim in the dam has been prohibited for several years, due to a history of similar incidents in the past.
The Municipal Government urges the population not to enter the San Felipe dam for years, because it was recurrent that every Saturday in Gloria there were people who died in the reservoir.
