NEW HARTFORD, NY (WUTR/WFXV/WPNY) -- A juvenile has been arrested by New Hartford Police after he allegedly set merchandise on fire at the New Hartford Wal-Mart. 12-year-old accused of starting fire at Walmart in New Hartford
Police said the 12-year-old and another juvenile grabbed a flare from the sporting good section of Walmart and set fire to a display of pillows and bedding at about 10:40 p.m. July 23, shortly before the store was set to close. Police said the two juveniles fled the store and left the flare and merchandise burning.
