A Bedford County couple has been jailed after being arraigned yesterday on animal cruelty charges. In April, state police were alerted to possible cruelty to animals at an abandoned farmhouse in West Providence Township where 12 dogs, nine cats, a rooster, and a duck were found living in deplorable conditions.
