Lawrence house fire kills two pets, owners uninjured

LAWRENCE, Ind. (WISH) — Two pets were killed in a house fire in Lawrence Monday afternoon. Jan. 27, the City of Lawrence Fire Department arrived at a house fully engulfed in flames in the 4300 block of Congaree Drive around 4:30 p.m. They confirmed that a dog and a cat died. The fire department said there were no injuries for either the property owners or firefighters. Indianapolis Fire Department is investigating.
