Circuit Judge Mike Taylor predicted Wednesday that less than 110 prisoners will be in the Pike County jail by the end of summer, and he believes the count could go below 100. Those numbers exclude 10 to 15 prisoners who are awaiting transfer to the Mississippi Department of Corrections. Two people were wounded in a shooting in McComb's Algiers neighborhood Thursday night, and police have no suspects.
