England · EnglandHorse Rescue jhawkins 11:47am 28 Jun 2025 Specialist Animal Technical Rescue Teams from Weymouth and Bath joined Firefighters from Somerton to assist with the rescue of a 14.3hh horse stuck up to its neck in mud in the River Yeo near Yeovilton. On arrival crews extricated 1 casualty from vehicle using small tools and hydraulic equipment. Patient was handed to Ambulance personnel. Police were also in attendance.
