Cancer · BristolBRISTOL, R.I. (WPRI) -- Saturday was a special day for Devarjaye "DJ" Daniel, who was sworn in as an honorary police officer in Bristol. DJ, who is 13-years-old and aspires to become a police officer, was diagnosed with brain and spinal cancer in 2018. He was given only months to live, but has overcome the odds and is still fighting after 13 surgeries throughout the last seven years.
