Carlisle, England · CarlisleKeswick Mountain Rescue Team were called out twice in quick succession on Monday afternoon to assist two walkers who had slipped and injured themselves. The first call out at 14.55 on Monday March 18 saw Keswick MRT rescue a 49-year-old woman who slipped and went over on her ankle whilst walking at Ellas Crag below Rowling End in the Newlands Valley. The team reduced (realigned) and splinted the ankle and stretchered the woman down to the team vehicle before taking her to Keswick Cottage Hospital.
