At the age of 75, the entertainer withdraws from the Saturday evening stage. After 35 years in the spotlight, Gottschalk announced his imminent farewell in the RTL show "Because they don't know what's happening". A final farewell show is planned for December.
Germany's last television entertainer of old school has said goodbye to his most important station. Saturday evenings he does not want to make any TV shows in the future.
