The US Ambassador to NATO, Matthew Whitaker, said on Sunday that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky could attend the summit on Friday in Alaska between Donald Trump and Vladimir Putin, a request from Europeans.
The meeting will discuss a possible end to the Russian-Ukrainian war, but no invitation has been sent to the Ukrainian president yet.
