Zeddy Will Lands Major Network Deal, Breaks Down in Tears
The six-episode dramedy will now reach a wider audience after its network backer said the deal reflects strong interest in Zeddy’s viral success.
This month, internet sensation Zeddy secured a major network partnership for his scripted dramedy, #ZEDDY: Going Viral Is A Full-Time Job, expanding beyond its original YouTube-only release plans.
Production company PowerMoves Inc. announced the partnership during a screening for the six-episode series, written by Matthew Coole, which follows an aspiring content creator pursuing fame.
Fueling his career, the viral hit 'BOW BOW BOW' has generated over 615 million TikTok views and over 6 million Spotify streams across its recordings.
Overcome with emotion, Zeddy broke down in tears at the screening as his mother embraced him, with cast and crew gathering to celebrate the milestone.
PowerMoves Inc. co-founder Shawn Prez called the project a natural progression for Zeddy, whose talents span music, comedy, and acting across multiple platforms beyond YouTube.
