Zara Tindall's Father-in-Law 'Not Doing Great' as Husband Shares Sad Update
Mike Tindall said his father is not doing great after more than 20 years with Parkinson's, and he continues fundraising for patients.
Former rugby player Mike Tindall disclosed that his father, Philip, is "not doing great" as he continues to battle Parkinson's disease, diagnosed in 2003.
After over 23 years with the degenerative condition, Philip's health has deteriorated significantly, leaving him a "shell of what he once was," Tindall said.
Witnessing this decline drove Mike to champion fundraising for Cure Parkinson through the annual ISPS Handa Celebrity Golf Classic, where "Parkinson's is brutal and there is no let up," he told Hello! Magazine.
On Friday, Zara Tindall marked her 44th birthday at The Belfry in Sutton Coldfield, supporting her husband's charity event and helping raise funds for his causes.
Mike emphasized that he and Zara prioritize their three children—Mia, Lena, and Lucas—enjoying sports for fun rather than pursuing professional careers. "I want them to have fun," he said.
