The Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant in Ukraine, under Russian control, regained external power after relying on emergency generators since August 20. Power was restored via the Ferosplavna line following a local ceasefire facilitated by the International Atomic Energy Agency, allowing crucial repairs to take place.
ZAEC has switched to external power and is operating as a regular service after the restoration of the Ferrostoy 1 line, reported the head of Rosatoma, Alexei Lihachev. "The external supply of the ZAEC from the Ferrosmeljä 1 line has been restored.
