Kito, a young giraffe from the Beekse Bergen safari park in Hilvarenbeek, died last Wednesday of a lung infection. He was one of four Nubian giraffes born at Beekse Bergen in January of this year. This is one of the most endangered giraffe species. Kito became visibly ill early last week.
