Special celebrations on reaching a milestone, like Driffield Show’s 150th on Wednesday next week (22 July), are to be applauded but probably even more important are the debuts of new livestock exhibitors, breathing fresh life and maintaining shows for the future, and for one young farming couple this year will be their first competing with their Limousin cattle at what is oft vaunted as the UK’s largest one day agricultural show.
