"Fidesz is the sure choice. Raise the flags high, let's go to victory!" the Prime Minister declared in his celebratory speech on March 15 at Kossuth Square in Budapest.
Speaking at the state commemoration of the 1848 revolution, in the middle of an election campaign, Viktor Orbán said that a historic victory was needed for the historic task ahead, among others, because "Brussels has set its sights on war".
In Budapest, the government and opposition fought for better images on National Day. It is a struggle for the last, still undecided voters.
Once again, trying times are upon us, so the next election is a matter of life and death - for the first time in many years. This was the theme of Viktor Orbán's speech at Kossuth Square.
According to the Prime Minister, we must work “without compromise and without mercy towards ourselves” for the next 28 days and then we will achieve a brilliant victory. The Peace March and the state ceremony on Kossuth Square have come to an end.
