Akhilesh cites Governor's remarks to target Yogi govt, calls 'double engine' a 'trouble engine'

Yadav alleged that the state's governance model and Gujarat's model both showed corruption. He stated that the "double engine" government had become a "trouble engine." The Yogi government withdrew the controversial bill regarding the payment of salaries to madrasa teachers and employees from both houses of the legislature, passed in 2016 during the Samajwadi Party government. This bill was never implemented due to legal and constitutional objections. The Governor and later the Union Home Ministry also objected to several of its provisions.
