Yle poll: SDP support slips for third month, National Coalition gains ground
Finland's opposition Social Democratic Party (SDP) remains the country's most popular political party, but its lead over Prime Minister Petteri Orpo's National Coalition Party has narrowed after another drop in support, according to a new Yle opinion poll. The support for the Social Democratic Party, which is the Gallup favorite, is sinking in the Yle poll. This will be a small cause for joy for the National Coalition Party's party conference, estimates special political editor Timo Haapala.
The support for the National Coalition Party strengthened and the Greens are declining again.
The order of the largest parties has remained unchanged. The biggest drop in the survey is the Greens, which lost 0.8 percentage points of support.
