VVD leader Dilan Yeşilgöz is sympathetic to SP leader Jimmy Dijk's idea of having small businesses pay less for their sick employees. The obligation to pay these employees part of their wages for two years is difficult for businesses with fewer than fifty employees to meet, Dijk stated during the General Political Debate.
