- Six people on board were killed, including manager Jefferson Osorio, Juan Manuel Rodríguez, Óscar Marín, Weisman Mora and pilot Hernando Torres; Jiménez, 34, left a wife and three children.
- The singer's organization posted on Instagram that it deeply regrets his death, and Colombian fans and the música popular community said his death shocked Colombia.
- In 2024 Jiménez sold out Bogotá's Movistar Arena three times, drawing more than 40,000 fans, and had a second El Campín show scheduled for March 28, underscoring his recent prominence in música popular.
