Arrest in investigation into death of Xavier Durlinger

For the second time in the course of the investigation into the murder of Xavier Durlinger (19) the 25-year-old Merlijn C. was arrested. He was already in custody, but was released in September 2023.

A 25-year-old man from Sittard was arrested on Monday in the investigation into the death of Xavier Durlinger. This suspect had already been arrested earlier in this case. The investigation yielded new information that led to the arrest, the police reported.
