Organist Xavér Varnus has bought another abandoned church, this time in Tékes, Baranya County, in order to save the dilapidated building and turn it into a concert venue and his own apartment, according to an RTL report. The 62-year-old musician returned to Hungary after nearly two years, and his goal is not only to renovate the property, but also to revive the cultural life of the depopulated village.
