WTA Madrid: a tournament below expectations

The WTA 1000 in Madrid last year was probably the best tournament of all 2024 women, including Slam. It had offered a series of spectacular games, with several players in great condition and three very close protagonists in performance: Swiatek, Sabalenka and Rybakina.
