The Womens Premier League 2027 auction took place in Kochi, where five franchises finalised their squads. Royal Challengers Bengaluru, Mumbai Indians, Delhi Capitals, Gujarat Giants, and UP Warriorz participated in the auction. A total of 146 players were shortlisted, including 119 Indian and 27 overseas players. Each franchise aimed to strengthen their teams ahead of the tournament scheduled for January 2027.
