Samsung Takes on Supersized Rivals With 115-Inch Micro-LED Backlit TV
The 115-inch Micro RGB TV uses individually-controlled micro-LEDs and AI to deliver precise color and contrast, priced at 44.9 million won in South Korea, Samsung said.
Samsung Electronics unveiled the world's first 115-inch Micro RGB TV at CES 2025, debuting initially in South Korea before a global rollout.
This TV uses millions of exceptionally small RGB LEDs under 100µm, enabling more precise color and lighting than traditional LED or Mini-LED displays.
Samsung's Micro RGB AI Engine processes each video frame instantly to improve color accuracy and enrich muted shades through its Micro RGB Color Booster feature.
The TV achieves full coverage of the BT.2020 color standard, with certification from VDE, and incorporates glare-reduction technology approved by Underwriters Laboratories to enhance screen visibility in bright environments.
Priced around $32,000, the Micro RGB TV targets ultra-large premium segments and will expand to additional sizes and markets, aiming to maintain Samsung's leadership in display technology.
A new technology of television panels asks for passage, it is called Micro RGB, and it is specially designed for large televisions, although it serves everyone.
