Aline Kamakian, the chef for the World Central Kitchen aid organization in Lebanon, said the needs of displaced families for humanitarian aid are increasing “very, very quickly.” “The situation is becoming inhumane,” she said, noting that new evacuation orders from Israel now cover half of Beirut. “I don’t know where people are going to go.
