A 29-year-old Woodstock man was arrested after officers seized 266.4 kg of suspected methamphetamine hidden in 16 duffel bags during a secondary truck inspection.
- On Feb. 4, 2026, a commercial truck arriving from the United States at the Blue Water Bridge port of entry was referred for secondary inspection, revealing 16 duffel bags with 266.4 kilograms of suspected methamphetamine.
- A CBSA officer referred the commercial truck to secondary inspection, prompting a trailer search where officers with a detector dog found 16 duffle bags of suspected methamphetamine.
- The accused, Kulbir Singh, 29, Woodstock, Ontario, faces charges of importation and possession for trafficking, and the case is before the Ontario Court of Justice in Sarnia.
- The CBSA said it works 24/7 to keep narcotics out of Canada, Michael Prosia said, and officers have seized approximately 616 kg of methamphetamine from the U.S. since Jan. 1, 2026.
