National Peace Officers Memorial Day is Thursday, May 15, and to honor local officers that have lost their lives in the line of duty, the Hopkinsville Fraternal Order of Police is hosting a memorial service. Wood County Police Memorial Service set for Thursday on front steps of courthouse – BG Independent News

The Wood County Police Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, May 15, at noon, on the front steps of the Wood County Courthouse in Bowling Green. Perrysburg Municipal Court Judge Aram Ohanian will deliver the memorial address during this service.    Officers from several of the Wood County law enforcement agencies will also participate. This service is open to the public. A lunch will be provided by the Wood County Fraternal Order of Police.
