  • A woman walking ahead collided with the family's pushchair, which precipitated the confrontation at Bond Street Underground Station on October 11, and the man then shouted racial abuse before the woman grabbed the victim's hair.
  • The man produced a small bottle he said was pepper spray and sprayed it toward the family, who reported no ill effects.
  • Officers believe the pictured man and woman may hold information that could assist enquiries and urge anyone recognising them to quote reference 413 of 12 October to British Transport Police or contact Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
  • A CCTV appeal has been launched and police shared images of the male and female suspects described as White, tall with greying hair and average height with blonde hair, while enquiries seek to establish the substance, police say.
