Woman rescued from Crow River in Meeker County, Minnesota

FOREST CITY — A 44-year-old woman was rescued Tuesday from the Crow River after authorities say she fell off a tube and was unable to swim back to shore. Rae Kurtz, of Darwin, was floating on a tube down the Crow River with a friend when she got pulled farther down river by a strong current, according to a news release from the Meeker County Sheriff’s Office.
