Woman found unresponsive in Trussville City Jail dies

A 35-year-old woman from Bessemer was pronounced dead at 12:13 p.m. Monday at UAB-St. Vincent’s East Hospital in Birmingham after she was found unresponsive at 10:30 a.m. that morning inside a private cell at the Trussville City Jail, according to the Jefferson County Medical Examiner’s Office.
