A woman has been pronounced dead in Surrey this morning following reports of concerns for safety.

A woman in her 70s has been found dead at a house in Sunbury.

Surrey Police were called to reports of a concern for safety in Sunmead Road at around 8:40am this morning. In a statement, Surrey Police said; “Sadly a lady in her 70s was confirmed to be deceased at the scene. Her death is being treated as non-suspicious. Next of kin are aware and our thoughts are with the family at this time.” Sunmead Road is currently closed; stay tuned to Jackie for the latest traffic news.
