Woman charged following alleged hit-and-run in Wallsend Asda car park

A woman has been charged following an alleged hit-and-run in a North Tyneside supermarket car park. Police received a report of a disturbance in Asda car park on Hadrian Road in Wallsend. A security guard from the supermarket has then attempted to intervene when, for reasons yet to be established, they were struck by a car. The driver of the car has then left the scene before police arrived. Roxanne Louise Dale, 36, of Lambourne Avenue in Longbenton, has since been charged with a number of offences.
